Owner Jim Niemi has been at the helm since the beginning with his unwavering commitment to community through his life’s work. His ability to attract a team of individuals to this energy and leadership style has resulted in the evolution of the organization and a well accepted connection to individuals in the community. Jim’s passion lies in creating opportunities that allow seekers to experience new levels of self-awareness and self directed change. He enjoys helping people understand who they are, what their unique gifts are, and how to integrate this knowledge in ways that nurtures life, work, and self expression. Jim believes that our life’s work should be challenging, fun and an opportunity to be creative. He is committed to providing services that help others achieve their highest potential. He is dedicated to approaching this work with grounded energy, integrity and hope for the future.
For the past fourteen years, he has been actively involved with Implicit Career Search® creator Steve Miller, developing and delivering the model. Jim has been instrumental in the evolution of ICS® in the BC interior and has attracted a number of people along the way to explore the idea of delivering the work themselves. He and his team deliver the workshops in Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, Sicamous and Chase. They also offer one on one coaching sessions. Jim resides in Salmon Arm, BC for 6 months of the year and Chase, BC for 6 months at his summer home where he enjoys fishing, golfing and hanging out with family and friends. He is married to Cheryl and has 3 children, Derrick, Nikki and Jesse. He also has 2 granddaughters Bryn and Alyvia who teach him the importance of play.
